For this project we were tasked with using the skills we had learned in Adobe Premiere Pro to create a video on a topic that interested us. The only limitations were to utilize the image masking and text masking tools along with desired transitions.

 

I chose to focus on UGA football and create a hype video from the fan’s perspective. Using video clips and images that I have taken since being a student here, I was able to compile footage from many different times of day, weather conditions, and locations, to help display the commitment that football fans have to the game and the team. The audio used is from a Georgia Football hype video on YouTube, I chose this audio because it also very much applies to what it takes to be a fan. Just like being on the team, being a fan in the stands is able to build that sense of brotherhood, pride, and representation of your team and state. This can be seen in a lot of the footage in the video, fans cheering together, traveling to different states to see their team, and I also see it evident in the dates my films were collected; the earliest being taken in 2017, shows the lifelong dedication of UGA fans.
